Viridian Housing are a housing association providing social housing to over 30,000 residents spanning across London and the South East, the Midlands and West Sussex. They have around 16,000 homes and work in partnership with local authorities, organisations and residents to create safe, sustainable communities.

How do we help Viridian Housing?
To comply with their legal responsibilities, Viridian Housing (Viridian) are required to manage any asbestos which may be located within their housing stock. Covering a large geographical area, Viridian require the services of an asbestos consultancy who are capable of working across all areas and a wide variety of property types, ages and constructions confidently completing on average 1200 re-inspection surveys per year.

Asbestos Surveys and Re-inspections
To ensure that Viridans tenants receive high levels of customer service and satisfaction we have a dedicated Viridian Housing administration team. This team work with Viridian and their tenants to ensure that all surveys and re-inspections are completed on time and in full. At the start of each month Viridian provide us with a list of tenanted property details which require re-inspections, we then liaise directly with tenants on their behalf reducing administration time for Viridian. This way of working allows the housing team at Viridan to focus on other key areas of their business.

For all re-inspection visits we provide Viridian tenants with exact timed appointments. This system means that more appointments are kept as tenants are not required to wait in for long periods, we arrive on time according to our agreed time with the tenant.
System Interface
As part of our service to Viridian we provide full written reports following each re-inspection. To assist Viridian to further reduce time spent on administration we have interfaced our systems. This allows us to import all data and report findings directly into Viridian’s chosen property management system, providing up to date information in their preferred format.
