Asbestos Apprentices

Investing In the future of the Asbestos Industry

We at Acorn Analytical Services, are delighted to announce the arrival of two new Apprentice Asbestos Consultants, James Williamson and Lewis Manton, who joined the team this week through our partnership with Tiro.

Supporting Growth Through Apprenticeships

As demand continues to increase for high-quality asbestos services across the UK, we recognise the importance of attracting and developing new talent. Through our partnership with Tiro, James and Lewis will receive structured training, hands-on practical experience, and ongoing mentorship and support as they begin their careers within the asbestos industry.

The apprenticeship programme combines classroom learning with real-world experience, allowing apprentices to develop the technical knowledge and practical skills required to become successful asbestos consultants.

Gaining Experience Across Nationwide Projects

During their apprenticeship journey, James and Lewis will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced consultants on a wide range of projects throughout the UK.

This will include involvement in:

  • Asbestos surveys
  • Refurbishment and demolition surveys
  • Reinspections
  • Asbestos air monitoring
  • Four-stage clearance procedures
  • Project management support
  • Client compliance programmes

Working on nationwide projects will allow them to gain exposure to different sectors, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, retail, and residential environments.

Building Careers in a Growing Consultancy

As a growing consultancy, we believe that developing our own talent is key to maintaining the high standards our clients expect. Apprenticeships provide a fantastic pathway into the asbestos sector, offering individuals the chance to learn from experienced professionals while building long-term careers.

The addition of James and Lewis strengthens our commitment to delivering high-quality asbestos surveying, air monitoring, project management, and consultancy services across the UK.

Looking Ahead

We are excited to welcome James and Lewis to the team and look forward to supporting them throughout their apprenticeship journey.

Their arrival marks another positive step in the continued growth of Acorn as we expand our nationwide asbestos consultancy services and invest in the future of our industry.

We would also like to thank Tiro for their support in helping us recruit and develop the next generation of asbestos professionals.

Welcome to the team, James and Lewis – we are excited to see what the future holds.
