Let me first begin by sharing a little about our company and the position we currently have available.

Acorn Analytical Services is a successful Asbestos Consultancy, we service all sectors (domestic, commercial and industrial) across the UK and sometimes internationally too.

We’re one of the last fully independent asbestos consultancies in the UK.  Our services include asbestos surveying, testing in our office and site laboratories as well as full project management of asbestos removal projects.  We are fully UKAS accredited for our asbestos services as well as UKATA accredited for the training we provide.

Additionally, we assist clients with HAZMAT surveys, sampling and testing of lead, arsenic, anthrax etc plus we also have a new H&S department specialising in all areas of Health and Safety.

The Asbestos Consultant, Asbestos Surveyor & Asbestos Analyst positions fit into the operations department of our Northampton office.  Our business is to help clients to remove their asbestos and H&S headaches through our consultancy services.

Our offices are located in Northampton at, 32 Chartergate, Quarry Park Close, Moulton Park, Northampton, NN3 6QB

The Role

Due to the expansion of our Northampton office, we are currently looking for Asbestos Consultants, Asbestos Surveyors and Asbestos Analysts to join our team. These roles will be based from our Northampton office covering the Midlands and South.

You will need a minimum of 1 year experience working within a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy. You will be working based on our Northampton office delivering asbestos surveys or asbestos air monitoring related services dependant on your experience.

If you are the type of person who thrives under pressure, enjoys taking ownership of everything they do and loves assisting clients to manage their asbestos risk then you’re the asbestos consultant we are looking for!

The successful Asbestos Consultant will be required to travel around the region as such you will be expected to hold and maintain a full, clean UK driving licence.

Minimum Qualifications

Surveyors – BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent qualifications)

Analysts – BOHS P403 & BOHS P404 (or RSPH equivalent qualifications)

Desirable Qualifications

BOHS – S301, P405, P406
