Acorn Analytical Services is a successful Asbestos Consultancy, we service all sectors (domestic, commercial and industrial) across the UK and sometimes internationally too.

We’re one of the last fully independent asbestos consultancies in the UK.  Our services include asbestos surveying, testing in our office and site laboratories as well as full project management of asbestos removal projects.  We are fully UKAS accredited for our asbestos services as well as UKATA accredited for the training we provide.

The Asbestos Analyst position fits into the operations department of our newly established Scotland office.  Our business is to help clients to remove their asbestos and H&S headaches through our consultancy services.

The Role

Due to our ongoing commitment to developing our regional presence and increasing our ability to support clients at a local level, we have recently opened a regional office in Scotland. We are currently looking for Asbestos Analysts to join our team. These roles will be based from our Scotland office.

You will need a minimum of 1 years experience working within a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy. You will be working based at our Scotland office delivering asbestos air monitoring related services.

If you are the type of person who thrives under pressure, enjoys taking ownership of everything they do and loves assisting clients to manage their asbestos risk then you’re the Asbestos Analyst we are looking for!

The successful Asbestos Analyst will be required to travel around the region as such you will be expected to hold and maintain a full, clean UK driving licence.

Minimum Qualifications

Analysts – BOHS P403 and BOHS P404 (or RSPH equivalent qualifications)

Desirable Qualifications

BOHS – S301, P405, P406
