WHEN it comes to raising awareness of the dangers of asbestos, education and training are absolutely key.
With so much advice out there, it can be difficult to know where to turn for information you can trust and training which is tailored to suit your individual needs.
To mark national Day of Education, the team at Acorn Analytical Services is turning a spotlight on the training and information it offers workers in the industry to help keep you – and your team – safe and protected.
Who needs formal asbestos awareness training?
If you work in any role which could put you at risk of coming into contact with asbestos, you need to arrange awareness training for you and your team as soon as possible.
Typical roles could include general maintenance staff, electricians, plumbers and gas fitters, painters, decorators, joiners and plasterers, demolition and construction workers, roofing contractors, heating, ventilation and telecommunication engineers, fire and burglar alarm installers, architects, building surveyors and shopfitters.
Delivered by our team of experts – each with more than ten years’ experience – our face-to-face training courses are backed by UKATA – the leading authority on asbestos training in the UK.
During the course you will learn from the very best in the business, each one with first hand experience of dealing with all the dangers. The training will focus on how to avoid ‘accidental disturbance’ and the steps you should take immediately if the worst should happen.
Within 24 hours of completing your training you will receive a certificate and our experts will be on hand to offer any advice you need.
