Asbestos industry turbulence: Acorn Analytical Services is strong, dynamic and well-placed to weather the storm

Asbestos industry turbulence: Acorn remains strong

WHILE economic uncertainty may be starting to bite in the asbestos industry, Acorn Analytical Services continues to go from strength to strength offering essential support to clients right across the UK.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the asbestos and health and safety industry, we’ve become a trusted partner to a growing number of public service organisations, private businesses and charities, many of whom have been with us from the beginning.

These relationships really do mean the world to us, and we take great pride in giving our valued customers the right support and information at the right time – every time.

Here, Director Neil Munro explains what’s happening in the industry and what sets Acorn Analytical Services apart from the rest.

What’s happening in the industry?

Switch on the TV or pick up any newspaper and it’s hard to escape headlines about the looming financial crisis or turbulence in the economy.

It’s a perfect storm for some businesses and it’s already hitting hard, not least in the asbestos industry where some companies are already experiencing financial difficulties and are being forced to make tough decisions about their futures.

Although inevitable, it is a serious problem where asbestos is concerned.

If an asbestos company goes out of business, customers could find themselves without the support they badly need. At best that may prove costly, at worst it could be deadly.

For customers, picking the right contractor has never been more important.

Before signing any contract make sure you do your homework – checking a company’s credit score is absolutely essential.

And if you’re unsure, don’t commit. Instead, get in touch with Acorn Analytical Services to see how we can help.

What makes Acorn Analytical Services different?

Acorn Analytical Services was launched in 2000 and our team of directors has real pedigree with more than 20 year’s experience each in the asbestos and health and safety industry.

That experience, together with a real passion for the work we do, has allowed us to grow the business slowly over time. We now have offices in Northampton, Wolverhampton, Leeds and London and clients right across the UK.

Our projects take us far and wide – covering everything from old department stores, disused factories, hospitals and even schools.

With every project, however big or small, customer service is absolutely key, which is why our clients keep coming back to us time and time again.

We’re one of the last fully independent consultancies in the country, giving you reassurance that any advice or information you are given is completely impartial and with your best interests at heart. And our business, together with our team of expert consultants, is backed by the UK Asbestos Training Association (UKATA) – the gold standard in our industry.

As one of the UK’s leading consultancies, we offer a complete range of training courses and are committed to raising awareness of the dangers of asbestos whenever we can.

This is the Acorn way.

What services do you offer?

We offer a complete range of asbestos management and our state-of-the-art laboratories allow us to process samples of asbestos and other materials quickly and efficiently – immediately in the case of on-site laboratory which is essential for contractors working in construction.
