Acorn Opens New Birmingham office!

JG-Brum-Small

We have some exciting news…

We have expanded with the opening of a new Birmingham office!

The new office is located on Bristol Road South and will be led by Joe Gore (pictured) and staffed by people from the Birmingham area. Not only will this new office help us to better service our existing clients in and around Birmingham, it allows us to introduce efficiencies and better response times that will reduce costs, wear and tear on vehicles, travel time for our staff and further reduces our company’s carbon footprint. We will also be creating jobs for local people in and around Birmingham.

The launch of this office has been a long time coming. We started planning our expansion into Birmingham around 12 months ago, but our plans were delayed due to COVID.

We see this office opening as quite an achievement, considering the challenges that so many businesses have faced this year – ourselves included!

Thankfully, we were in a very strong position going into lockdown which enabled us to come out strong on the other side.  During lockdown we continued to provide essential asbestos safety and compliance services to our hospital and local authority clients. We also continued to support clients who were midway through asbestos removal projects.

Our continued growth strategy and confidence in our market meant we were able to move forward with our plans to open our Birmingham office.

It has been seven years since we (Neil Munro and Ian Stone) launched Acorn Analytical Services in Northampton and in that time we’ve hit many significant milestones. We’ve put together a team of some of the most knowledgeable asbestos experts in the UK and created a management team which has more than 100 years’ combined experience in the field to ensure we have the skills to manage asbestos concerns for clients of all sizes.

We have also developed a reputation for excellence in what we do and, as a result, we are trusted to carry out asbestos work for some of the biggest organisations in the UK, including the NHS, the Environment Agency, top universities and a multitude of local authorities.

We are incredibly excited by this news and look forward to building up our reputation and client base in Birmingham and the surrounding area and working with people who want access to our comprehensive suite of asbestos consultancy services, which range from asbestos air testing and asbestos surveys to removal management and accredited training.

If you are a business based in the Birmingham area and looking for support with your asbestos or suspected asbestos, please get in touch with Joe on 0121 369 1105.
